BN tidak dapat tawan Selangor jika PRU bulan Jun, kata Dr Ling.
The National Front is expected to capture back Selangor in General Elections-13 (PRU13) if Parliament is dissolved next month, "said the former MCA president Tun DrLing Liong Sik.

Dr Ling said the federal government was not yet ready because there is still a few unresolved issues that will affect the country's leadership in the near future.

"The date is most suitable for the general election debates that do not produce results. When I did the electionappropriate time, but you are not ready, "he told Sin Chew in an interview published today.

"To be clear, not sure BN will win the next election. I think (BN) is still not readySome say June, but I do not know if they dare (to hold elections in June), many issues are still pending, "said the former transport minister again.

Dr Ling (pictured) also said he was not sure BN will be able to capture back Selangor from the Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

This obviously, most of the PR in the state leadership was not involved with the issue of the moral and corruption except for Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Dr Ling also commended the leadership of PR such as Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim andPenang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, who is free from corruption scandals and abuse of power.

He added that the existence of dwi-partisan system healthy in Malaysia still occur based on observations of the 2008 election results last.

"But it still depends on the quality of opposition, if they are severe, so do not be that effective implementation of the system is dwi-partisan.

"If well as in Penang, DAP actually has done well but there is some dispute between DAP Chairman, Karpal Singh and his deputy Ramasamy, "he said.

BN lost two-thirds majority after losing five states to the PR in the 2008 general election where BN at that time led by then Prime Minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

After taking over in 2009, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak began to transformand reform to attract back the people's support for the BN, including the repeal of the Internal Security Act (ISA) and establish the Special Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) to review the electoral system in this country.

Najib is expected to dissolve Parliament next June after giving the grant "one-off" tolow-income earners and minimum wage policy announced last week.
