Expected DAP Drama
The announcement by the DAP that the errors in the counting of votes during the election that was at once restore Malay representatives in the Central Working Committee (CEC) raises a big question the integrity and credibility of the party that had been declared as transparent and diverse communities.
Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said, what a strange coincidence occurred after DAP criticized when all eight candidates competing Malay party was defeated in the election, 17 December.
He said though the issue was seen small but considerable implications for leaders and DAP members are now starting questioned whether the election system that is completely transparent and fair so that no party wants to re-election is held.
"It's very awkward and unusual, a lot of people laugh is a chapter to be a Malay candidate. So, sometimes we ask them where DAP time ever disputed election system and our Election Commission is not transparent and unfair, but now many people questioned whether DAP's election system transparent and fair.
"Incidentally the previous comments is how DAP as a multiracial party but Malay candidates defeat and turn back the chance to win. If the one is so, could people not dispute all the other 20 selected probably because of other reasons , "he told a news conference after meeting with employees at the mill Proton Proton Proton City here today.
The Deputy Prime Minister said if UMNO did the same thing would have publicized all over the world but only silent when it comes to DAP.
According to him, the common practice or general election, including UMNO party elections, a recount of votes is usually done on the same day the votes counted and no one will question the decision or ask for a recount after the results were announced.
"This (election DAP) is over, it's eat sleep, it's the toilet and all at once, then the general back. Oh! Mistakenly account. Which one? Are these children Khir Johari miscalculated. How is that this one was miscalculated , What if some other be able to win back votes lost, "he said
