PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is afraid that the truth about PKR vice-president Azmin Ali’s wealth will be revealed, former Selangor PKR state secretary Mohd Nazmi Rosli charged.
“That is why Anwar does not want Azmin to be upset and treats him so well.
It is very obvious that Anwar is desperate and attacking the Prime Minister to divert attention to protect the secrets of Azmin as well as from his own sodomy case,” Nazmi said when contacted yesterday.
He said that invoices and receipts allegedly issued to Azmin and his wife Shamsidar Taharin for sizeable purchases of shares and furniture between 1992 and 1998 had been published on some blogs.

"When Anwar and Azmin speak at seminars, they condemn the Barisan Nasional leaders of corruption. Just because they are in the opposition they get away with it.
"I'm sure the public would also be interested to hear from the Opposition about Azmin," Nazmi said, adding that Anwar and his wife, PKR president Datin Seri Dr Wan Azizah Ismail, knew everything about the issue.
