Australian intervention in our affairs denounced
KUALA LUMPUR: Youth Barisan Nasional (BN) frustrated and angered by the actions of Australia 50 Members of Parliament want to teach and be deemed to interfere with internal affairs, especially litigation involving national Advisory Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Chairman, Khairy Jamaluddin, said his party Members of Parliament denounced the action as it involved clearly shows no intention to interfere in the affairs and the judicial system in this country.
According to him, all parties should respect Malaysia as a sovereign country with the supremacy of the Constitution and rule of law which does not require any intervention by outside parties.
"We do not accept direct any business, any action that we regard as interference from Australia, the foreign and foreign affairs in our country," he said, told reporters immediately submit a completed memorandum of protest to the Australian High Commissioner to Malaysia, Penny Williams at the embassy in the country concerned, Jalan Yap Kwan Seng here, yesterday.
